North Wahgi Electorate

North Wahgi Electorate covers areas along northern side of Wahgi River. As far as electoral boundaries go, North Wahgi Electorate is bounded by these electorates: The northern boundary is Jimi electorate, to the eastern boundary is Kerowagi Electorate of Chimbu Province. Towards the South is Anglimb South Wahgi electorate and to the west is Dei electorate of Western Highlands. The eastern end starts at Kerowagi and goes all the way to Kimil in the far western end.

Minj Town in Jiwaka is the centre of Governement and Administration of Jiwaka Province. Government agencies such as District Court House, the Police station, other government departments and agencies have their branch offices located at Minj.

Kurumul: Located only few kilometers east of Kudjip is the new Provincial Headquarters of Jiwaka Province. Provincial Headquarters was moved from Minj to Kurumul by Governor William Tongamp after 2012 National Elections.

Banz Town now remains as the commercial hub of Jiwaka Province. Government Administrative Offices are either; still at Minj or some shifted to new establishments at Kurumul.

Kurki. Kurki Station is the administration centre of Anglimb district. Situated between Kindeng and Avi, Kurki is located few kilometres to the south west, driving in from Highlands Highway.

Tabibuga is the district administration centre for Jimi Electorate. Situated in middle Jimi, Tabibuga is a government station with all government officials working on location to serve the district.

Kol station is located in the upper Jimi. Located near Kol is Ambulua Airstrip. Koinambe station is in lower Jimi. It is a mission station with an Airstrip.
