The Binz River
Binz is the only River which starts within Tsenglap Territory and flows down to join main Wahgi River. Binz is a popular river within Tsenglap as it is reputed to be the river where our ancestors had their last drink just before they died. Binz River has its source at the foothills of Donumb and Tangilip Mountains. Donumb-Tangilip Mountains are part of the Baldin mountain range along the major Sepik Wahgi Divide.
Binz River flows from Donumb-Tangilip down to the old Kinzip Sawmill. From Kinzip it flows to Binzku, but just before Binzku, another major stream joins in, which is the Kondilnol. From Binzku, Binz River flows down to Ambang and passes several small places around Ambang. After Ambang, the Binz flows down to Tolu Point passing between Kurumul and Kumngana. From Tolu Point, the Binz flows further down passing between Kulamp and Tula before pouring into the main Wahgi River.
