Work Hard And Prosper

Awareness ! On this page, we would like to encourage all the Tsenglaps out there to fully acquaint yourselves with these basic principles. It may seem impractical but we will have to practice it and some how educate our people in the villages and our children as well. How can each and every individual citizen of the Tsenglap become respectable people in the community. First we need to change ourselves individually. We encourage all the people to work hard for themselves. Do not waste time gambling at the market places, this activity will make you poor. We have a big attitude problem in this country. People are being so lazy, they do not want to work hard for themselves. Some people work hard and they get rich; some people are so lazy that they even steal to survive. Laziness is the cause of all the problems in this country. When God created the first human beings, he told them: You will have to work hard and sweat to make the soil produce anything. Yes, the soil will produce anything that you want, but first you must put in some sweat. In this modern world everything is driven by MONEY. Every body in this world need Money to do anything.
Money Talks !
How To Get Money ! Every human being in this world need money, and the Tsenglap Community is no execption. How does one get money? In the Tzenglap society we can think of two practical examples of how one can acquire this thing called MONEY. Here is a step by step process one has to follow if they would like to get money.
1. Get your bush knife (590) and spade, cut down the bush and dig the drain. Obtain some coffee seedlings and plant a block of coffee. Keep on weeding the coffee to bring the young coffee plants up. Wait for three years and harvest your first red cherries. After picking your first red cherries, leave the coffee bag at the road side, the coffee buyer comes along, pays you the MONEY and gets your coffee. Usually it will take roughly four (4) years to get money. You can also plant garden food, such as Kaukau, Banana, Sugar Cane, Cabbage, Onions, etc. When they are ready, you can harvest them, sell at the local market and get MONEY. Your can also look after animals like pigs, goats, chicken (poultry), and other livestock. These animals do not grow overnight, you have to wait for months and years.
2. As for our children, if you want to have money, this is what you should do: Enrol at a Primary School, which will take six years. Then go to your local high school, which will take four years. After high school, go to a National High Shool which is normally two (2) years. From there, you can enter one of the many Universities in PNG, kill another five years there. Graduate with a bachelors degree and then, look for a decent job, if your marks are good, companies can offer you employment. If you get your first pay, good luck: You have now earned your money the right way, after seventeen (17) years of sweat and toil.
There is no short cut in real life: The point we are trying to bring across to you Tsenglaps is that, it takes time and committment to achieve anything. If people in the village become lazy and do not work for their own living, then we will have big problems in the community. People do not want to earn money the right way. Lazy people always want fast money, that is where the problems is. People steal money because they do not want to work hard, they want to do things the quicker way. As a warning to you all you Tsenglaps out there, do not steal money because you are only killing yourself.
You got to be self reliant. Work hard for yourself, mind your own business. Most of the time we seem to be concerned with other peoples problems. Off Course, we live in a communal society, however we must budget our times and make use of every opportunity to do as much as we can for ourselves. There is another trend that is happening in this country and in this trend, people think that the fasted way to get money is to go to the politicians. People are looking at Politics from a different prespective. We urge all you Tsenglaps out there not to get any money from the politicians. This is a fact in life, if you sell yourself to a political candidate, you will live a miserable life for the rest of your life.
Stolen Money and Fast Money is not real, it is a like a dream that disappears in the morining . If you want to live a good life, do not steal. If politicians want to buy you for your vote one, don't give in to their sweet talk. You are not cheap merchandise. Your one vote is important Do not ask people for money; Do not steal either, and do not sell your land. Our Tsenglap Tradition, if you sell your land, you will die young.
